December 4, 2009 Anthony L Wright was wrongfully convicted of a crime he did not commit. Falsified statements, dirty detectives and a lying ADA landed Wright with a life sentence of murder in the first degree. DNA forensic specialist detected hundreds of fingerprints at the crime scene and not one of them were traced back to Wright. Witness describes a suspect as 5’7 and 150lbs.

Wright is 6’3. Another suspect in the case states his insulin was withheld for 3 days until he signed a fake statement that detectives claimed Wright had given. Wright never gave a statement. January 8,2022 the suspect writes a statement from jail recanting his statement and stating that Wright had nothing to do with the crime. He also confessed that he was in the after hour with the victim and the other suspect the night of the murder. When Wright gave the exact location along with names the night the murder happened as his alibi the lawyer claimed they were never found! Wrights case is another case that has lead to an innocent black man being convicted of a crime that he did not commit! To add insult to

injury the ADA and detectives have all been fired due to misconducts involving other cases.

Anthony has now served 15 years and lost the privelage to make memories with his family. He has until June 29,2022 for the Criminial Integrity Unit to make a decision that will determine if he will be released or continute to serve this life sentence! We are on the road to victory for the release of Anthony L Wright! Please join us to witness the Justice that he deserves!! ALW INNOCENT
